LEJOG Day 4 – Quedgeley to Telford

6th June 20186th June 2020 Harriet Leave a comment

LEJOG Day 4! What a day! 3 counties, 79.5 miles, and 4213 ft of climbing and we’re now in Shropshire! It’s hard to believe how far we’ve come in just 4 days and all powered by our own legs (and copious amounts of cake!). Today started with the BEST surprise, a completely unexpected visit from […]

LEJOG Day 3 – Wellington to Quedgeley

5th June 20185th June 2020 Harriet Leave a comment

Loving all the blossom everywhere at the moment! 😍 A wet, grey start to the day today, but the blossom was out and looking pretty and we spotted our favourite robin, coots, cormorants and the crested grebe again this morning too! Thanks for these lovely winter (and now spring) mornings of swim chat @sarah.spruytenburg.ss !

Beautiful day for a walk in the Cotswolds with @mw Beautiful day for a walk in the Cotswolds with @mwwise! 21kms taking in the countryside in the autumn sunshine, looking at the roll wright stones and making friends with a very tame squirrel. Just wish we’d worn shorts instead of trousers as it was so warm!
